We're Lindsay and Steph, the mamas behind The Velveteen Rabbit. Between us, we have four crazy kiddos, who spend so much time together that we often forget who belongs to which house. 

We are working moms who love Chicago, secondhand shopping and Marco Polo (the app, not the pool game!). We commiserate about all things #momlife over wine, coffee and sweaty yoga. 

We decided to create The Velveteen as a space for sustainable shopping and inclusive community. We started as a pop-up in Spring 2020 (yes, right as the world shut down) and now, thanks to incredible support from customers like you, we're still going strong!
